Meet young people from the Balkans, Europe and all over the world!
The Youth Camp is a place where young activists and advocates for peace from the Balkans, Europe and all over the world come together, in order to meet likeminded people, to learn from each other and to build understanding, friendship and social networks. The principles of the camp are nonviolence, a culture of peace and human dignity, as well as values such as pluralism, democracy, nondiscrimination, tolerance, justice, solidarity and gender equality.
Youth camp participants are invited to take part in all the activities of the main event and there will be specific selforganized youth camp activities, like diverse seminars, workshops, creative and cultural activities and sports! There will be a special emphasis on intercultural understanding and dialogue, reconciliation and dealing with the past, and peace and nonviolence education. Different approaches — with a focus on bringing together people from different countries — ranging from peer-to-peer education to nonviolent training, reconciliation seminars and expert dialogues are being pursued.
